BOUNCE Back 4 Kids (BB4kids) is a unique Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physiotherapy based program for children aged between 5-12 years. It is a fun, play based group program run by specially trained and qualified healthcare professionals to build fine motor and gross motor strength, stability, planning, coordination and skills in children.

Developed and tested by Occupational Therapist Tahnee Westbury and Olympic Specialist Physiotherapist (and mother of three) Trish Wisbey-Roth, the BB4Kids programme is based on real experience, science and research to achieve phenomenal growth and development in fine motor learning for children.

By utilising the OT approach of task analysis and fine motor skills supported by Physiotherapy muscle strengthening techniques and positioning, the BB4Kids programme implements a structured, yet playful and engaging process of activities and games designed to build these fundamental developmental skills in children.

The BB4Kids programme has been in place since 2009 and has seen phenomenal results.

  • 3 years of running these groups has shown a marked improve ment when re-tested on the BOT 2 Brief assessment.
  • All exercises and exercise progressions have been carefully designed inclusive of take home sheets for the kids. There is no designing, printing or drawing of exercises required by practitioners.
  • Inclusive of a one day intensive training programme for appropriately qualified therapists (including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Exercise Physiologists).
